On Friday night we celebrated the completion of Fabbrica.

The Pace team and our project consultants joined us on the Fabbrica rooftop to mark the moment a vision became a finished building, and a new home for the Fitzroy community.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. Fabbrica is complete, and its next chapter belongs to the people who will call it home.

Architecture isn't just about buildings - it's about creating spaces where life happens. Today we're celebrating our Design Team, the ones shaping tomorrow's Melbourne. From design through to completion, they bring creativity and precision to every home we build.

A year in, and The Archer is buzzing.

Our residents have built something special: weekly arts and crafts groups, millinery nights, w**e tastings. Real friendships forming in dedicated shared spaces. This is community - spaces designed for it, people who make it happen.

Fabbrica Fitzroy arrives this October.

It's all in the finer details. Marble benchtops. Terrazzo bathrooms. Timber flooring. V-ZUG appliances.

Every surface considered. Every finish intentional.

PEOPLE OF PACE | THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

Ever wondered what it's like being a development manager?

The role of the development team is all encompassing. Decisions are made and problems are solved across all disciplines and at every stage of the project lifecycle - from acquisition to handover. It's how obstacles get cleared and projects progress at full speed - true Pace fashion.

What makes it rewarding is seeing all those experts - internal, external, every discipline - come together seamlessly. Their coordination creates the beautiful end product our purchasers move into.

Led by Head of Development Kate Vorozilchak, this team is forward thinking and committed to finding (and creating) value in every relationship and every project.

The small eclectic pocket of Prahran and Windsor along south Chapel Street is where colour meets heritage. Vintage bookshops, artisan cafes, and century-old Victorian facades create a vibrant streetscape.

Watch this space. Something's brewing.

PAST PACE | The Icon

With its bold stacked forms and unmissable colour, The Icon earned the nickname "the Lego building" almost instantly. And it stuck. Bright, playful, impossible to ignore – it was never meant to blend in. Eleven years on, it's still turning heads and sparking conversation at the St Kilda junction.

What we loved about this project: it proved that daring design can become deeply loved. The Icon didn't just get built – it became part of how people see St Kilda. That's what design-led development should do.

Today marks R U OK? Day. At Pace, we celebrate supporting each other—checking in, starting conversations, and showing up when it matters.

Our teams build communities together. And that starts with creating our own community within Pace.

Pictured here is our Brunswick Site Team. They get it. They build together, they've got each other's backs, and they know that real strength is asking the question and listening to the answer.
