Three sold stickers. Three completely different stories. All in the last little while.
First up, on Karimbla Rd, Miranda, a set of grandparents who wanted to set their grandchildren up with something solid. They bid at auction with 5 registered bidders, spent more than they thought due to the competition but ultimately were over the moon as they found a high quality investment that doesn’t come up very often. I sold in this same complex two years ago and it doesn't come up often.
Then there was the young family on Tea Tree Place who poured themselves into renovating that place through Covid. Everyone keeps telling me how tough auctions are right now, but this one sold over reserve with real bidding, and it's handed on to a young couple starting out. Happy buyers and sellers, overall!
And then Mundakal Avenue. A young family had just missed out on another auction with me the week before, gutted. I told them to go have a look at this one before they wrote it off. They saw it, and a day later they'd bought it - they fell in love with the property. They'd come over from St George and hadn't really looked at the Shire - which is where it helps having a team that covers both sides, increasing the reach we can offer.
Different buyers, different reasons, same thing underneath it all: when you know a property and you know the market, you can help people move quickly and with confidence.
If you're weighing up buying or selling and want an honest read on where things stand, flick me a message.
