COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Promotion is open to residents of Geraldton, Dongara and the Mid West, Western Australia, aged 18 years or older.
To submit an eligible entry, entrants must like the Matched Property page, comment their father-figure story on this original competition post, and share this original competition post before voting closes. One story entry per person.
Entrants may tag friends, family and others to invite them to vote. Each Facebook Like reaction recorded on the entrant's original story comment on this original Matched Property post counts as one vote. Likes or reactions on shared posts, screenshots, replies or copies of an entry do not count toward the vote total.
Voting closes at 10:00am AWST on Friday 4 September 2026. Vote counts will be recorded by Matched Property at that time.
The eligible story with the highest verified number of likes will receive one $250 EFTPOS gift card. The next nine eligible stories with the highest verified number of likes will each receive one $100 EFTPOS gift card. Total prize pool: $1,150.
In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be reviewed by Matched Property and the final ranking will be determined at Matched Property's sole discretion.
Winners will be announced on the Matched Property page at approximately 12:00pm AWST on Friday 4 September 2026 and contacted via Facebook.
Prizes must be collected from the Matched Property Geraldton office at Geraldton Central. Any collection arrangements must be made directly with Matched Property.
EFTPOS gift cards are subject to the card issuer's own terms, conditions and expiry dates. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash through Matched Property, and no cash alternative will be offered.
Matched Property reserves the right to verify entries and votes and to remove or disqualify any entry or vote reasonably believed to be fraudulent, automated, duplicated, manipulated, offensive or otherwise inconsistent with these terms or the spirit of the competition.
By entering, entrants confirm they have the right to share the submitted story and consent to Matched Property sharing or reposting their entry, first name and winning status in connection with this promotion.
