Hey everyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to share a bit about myself. ๐ŸŒŸ

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked in animal welfare for over 10 years with both the RSPCA and the Department of Agriculture and Food. ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ

I am a Trained / qualified Animal Technician

Currently, I am working as a Ranger, which allows me to continue making a positive impact on

the lives of animals and their owners. It's truly fulfilling to be able to contribute to their well-being in such a direct way. ๐ŸŒฟ

On a more personal note, around three years ago, I decided to embark on a new adventure by starting to breed groodles. ๐Ÿพ These adorable creatures are a mix between golden retrievers and poodles, and let me tell you, they make the most amazing family dogs! ๐Ÿกโค๏ธ

Their loving nature, intelligence, and playful personalities make them an absolute joy to be around. Plus, they are fantastic with kids and can bring so much happiness and laughter into any home. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅฐ

๐Ÿพ A Little Scare for Preston River Oodles ๐Ÿพ

Last week we had a very frightening experience with our beautiful Ms Delta, our 18-month-old Groodle.

Delta suddenly became very unwell and ended up at the vet. Initially, it was thought her symptoms may have been neurological, but after further investigations, it was determined that she had been poisoned.

It appears Delta had pulled down and chewed on a jade plant, and the mulch in the garden was cocoa mulch. Our vet advised that both can be toxic to dogs, and the combination may have contributed to her condition.

Thankfully, after veterinary treatment at Blair St Vets and lots of TLC, Delta has made a full recovery and is back to her happy, healthy self. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿพ

As a result, all jade plants have now been removed from our backyard, and we wanted to share our experience as a reminder for other dog owners to double-check the plants and mulches in their gardens.

We are incredibly grateful to our veterinary team and so relieved to have our beautiful girl back to normal. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Our two gorgeous girls, Miss Bingo and Miss Poppy, have been mated to the handsome Mr Murray and Mr Kevin. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

Weโ€™re expecting:
โค๏ธ Miss Poppy โ€“ beautiful reds and red/white parti-factors.
๐Ÿค Miss Bingo โ€“ as always, she likes to keep us guessing! We usually see gorgeous creams and blacks, but she has been known to surprise us. โœจ

Now we wait for Mother Nature to do her thing and keep our fingers crossed for some healthy, happy puppies. ๐Ÿพ
