It’s always a good time at Black Book Breaky catchup.

Love love love these monthly catch ups with amazing humans.

🕺 No egos, no competition, just friendship, support, mentoring and the occasional inappropriate jokes that I have to endure.

Obvs I’d never tell one 😏

Winter is here across Australia and New Zealand, and with it comes our beautiful new AVARI Winter Collection.

Now, you might be thinking, “They’re candles… what’s the big deal?”

But think about it for a moment.

The experience of a home starts the second someone walks through the front door. Before they notice the kitchen, the styling or the view, they’re already feeling something.

One of the most powerful ways we create emotion is through scent.

Our new winter fragrance features warm timber and wood notes that create a cosy, inviting atmosphere. It’s subtle, sophisticated and designed to make people feel at home.

In a competitive marketplace, the little details matter. Whether it’s a room diffuser during an open home, a candle burning during a private inspection, or a thoughtful settlement gift for a buyer, these touchpoints can leave a lasting impression.

Because we’re not just creating fragrance.

We’re creating experiences.

The AVARI Winter Collection is now available.

Reach out for more information and discover how scent can help transform a house into a home.

We can also customise scents for networks and larger orders.

Let’s not spend money trying to fix the housing shortage in Australia.

Let’s not spend money trying to fix homelessness in Australia.

Let’s not spend money trying to help the Aussie battlers trying to make something of themselves.

Instead, our Prime Minister wants to waste even more money because he’s being trolled online.

I don’t usually get political, but this dude‘s priorities are just ridiculous.

You are coming after the very people who are building this country, you are slamming them and whingeing that they’re not happy that you’re taking 47% of their business.

I for sure won’t be launching any new businesses in Australia.

THE STORY OF MY NEW SONG

Over the past couple of days, quite a few people have asked me about Everybody Everywhere.

So I wanted to share where it came from.

For the last 12 to 18 months, our phrase has been clear:

From the beach to the bush, from the city to the country, we are absolutely everybody.

That line became a big part of the Real Estate Today journey. We even leaned into Vanessa Amorosi’s Absolutely Everybody as a bit of a theme song because, for me, music matters. I remember things through songs, jingles and lyrics. From a brand-building point of view, having something people could feel, remember and connect with was important.

But as we rebuilt, expanded and looked towards the future, I wanted something of our own.

Not my song.

Our song.

A song for the industry.

That’s where Everybody Everywhere was born.

Every lyric has meaning. Every reference tells part of the story. From a cafe in Bondi to roads out west, from Auckland rays to the California skies, it reflects the people, places and stories that have shaped Real Estate Today across Australia, New Zealand, India and the United States.

It’s about our journey, your journey and the industry we are building together.

One day, I’d love to hear this song playing as people walk into real estate events. I’d love to hear it on podcasts, socials, videos and stages. I’d love for it to get stuck in people’s heads because that’s what powerful brands do. They create feeling. They create memory. They create connection.

Everybody Everywhere is more than a song.

It’s an anthem for Real Estate Today.

And I cannot wait to share the full song with you.
