With great sadness, we acknowledge the passing of Trevor Jones. Trevor is a former colleague, respected lawyer, and a person who left a lasting impression on many who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Earlier in his career, Trevor was recognised as a senior and highly regarded lawyer in Dubbo. He was widely respected by his peers and trusted by many significant business and agribusiness clients, who valued his sound judgement, professionalism, and deep understanding of the industries and communities he served. His contribution to the local legal profession and to the clients who relied on his advice was both significant and enduring.
However, more than a decade ago, a serious motorcycle accident profoundly altered the course of his life.
Despite the challenges that followed, he continued to be remembered by colleagues and clients alike for the capability, integrity, and dedication that defined his professional life.
The news of his passing has been met with deep sadness by many across the community who knew him, worked alongside him, or benefited from his counsel. He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements, but also for the respect and regard in which he was held by those around him.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who mourn his loss.
