All properties require maintenance as they age and a good maintenance plan combined with the engaging of professional maintenance providers makes a property safe and enjoyable to live in and enhances your property’s value.
A maintenance plan covers planning and budgeting for future repairs and maintenance of the building and includes things like:
- major capital items that will need to be repaired or replaced within the next ten years,
- the present condition of those items,
- when the items will need to be repaired or replaced,
- the estimated cost of the repair and replacement of those items
- the expected life of those items once repaired or replaced.
