Lots of young Dingoes learning the ropes and looking for food. The dingoes can be super cute but dingo habituation is dangerous for both humans and dingoes so please don’t feed them and take all food scraps with you.

As the turtle nesting season continues on K'gari, the island comes alive with the incredible sight of female turtles emerging onto Seventy Five Mile Beach to lay their precious eggs. Having been fortunate enough to witness this natural wonder ourselves, we urge you to be considerate of these amazing animals' space if you encounter them, allowing them to nest safely and without disturbance.

Stunning time of the year on K’gari. Unfortunately there is an abundance of snot w**d at the moment so fishing is minimal but still so much to do and see !

We always love and appreciate the beauty of nature and the ever changing landscape of K’gari. We have loved watching the whales off the coast on their migration to warm waters. This morning’s view however is heartbreaking. Hoping that marine rescue can get here in time to save it 🥲🥲

A stealthy photographer has snapped one of K'gari's furry locals enjoying the sunset at Sandy Cape. 🐕

The dingoes of Fraser Island - known as 'wongari' by the Butchalla people - may be cute, but the island has a zero-tolerance policy for feeding the wild canines, with visitors advised to keep their distance.

It comes as a Brisbane man was fined $2,205 for hand feeding a dingo pup.
