A peaceful retreat, and a perfect base for hiking, biking and all things delicious. Each suite is uniquely styled.

The Forrest Guesthouse offers comfortable and relaxed self-contained accommodation. The Lake Elizabeth is our Queen suite, the cosiest of our suites, perfect for singles or couples. The Forrest suite sleeps two and can be set up as twin singles or a King bed. Both the Otways and Barwon can sleep four - two in the main bedroom (either twin singles or a king bed) and the sofa in the lounge can sleep

two singles. We are near enough to local attractions, yet private enough if you want a complete escape from the everyday pressures of life. Why not book yourself a meal at the on-site restaurant, Dar Tèta? Enjoy an excellent meal and a drink, right on the doorstep of your accommodation.

The weather is clearing up for the long weekend. Come and explore Forrest! There’s “Run Forrest” on but if running isn’t your speed, there’s gentle walks through the rainforest, or a little faster rolling on a bike. Delicious home-made meals and treats from Bower Bird Cafe - you can find this new cafe at the front of our property, right next door to . There’s an art exhibition at the hall and the school fete is also on Saturday 10-2. Op shop is open!

The fungi is out! All of these were spotted along the Tiger Rail Trail this morning on a wander. Wonder what you will find on a wander? Did my best to ID them, apologies if there’s any mis-ID’d.

Can you feel that? Autumn is coming to an end and winter arriving which means the waterfalls of the region are about to come alive. Hopetoun Falls is one of our favourite places to be when the rain sets in and the falls start to roar.
