Strata VS Christmas ✨

While you may think strata is abit of a Grinch, there are legitimate concerns when it comes to Christmas decorations.

If you’ve been granted body corporate approval to set up Christmas lights, here’s a few tips to keep the holiday season emergency calls to a minimum:
🎄 Always turn off any powered decorations before you go to bed (or have a timer set)
🎄 Make sure your smoke alarms are working
🎄 Make sure the lights are not touching any flammable items ie. carpet, curtains etc.
🎄 Avoid flashing lights that enter your neighbours rooms and disturb their peaceful enjoyment
🎄 Check you’re not overloading your power boards
🎄 Ensure leads to do not block walkways, exit points and are not on common property unless approved

P.S if you still haven’t decorated by now, what are you even doing 🤨
