Holly Thompson from WA Today reported that the price growth of properties in multiple suburbs surrounding some of Perth's most in-demand schools has far exceeded the average growth across the city over the past 30 years.
Multiple Real Estate Institute of Western Australia Buyer's Agent of The Year Winner 🏆 Ray Chua from Buyer's Advocate Perth compiled the report based on data pulled from reiwa.com Real Estate Institute of Western Australia on the median house 🏠 price across six public and private school precincts between 1995 and 2026. "A good school gives families another reason to compete for a limited number of homes and families, they're not choosing a house, they're choosing a lifestyle, and schooling can be a major part of that decision," he said.

We personally can vouch on the above findings when we purchased our current family home in late 2021 so that our children can study in one of the schools mentioned in the report. Schooling is the key determining reason we moved and the house number being translated in Cantonese as "easy to prosper" is the icing to the cake 😉.
