Grand Evening Campers 😎

Hope your all doing just super amazing on this stunning day!!!... With winter now well and truly gone, we can all come out of the cave, dust the chip crumbs off the shirt and and giddy up!!

An extra hour of light at the moment, its helping me catch up with the requests coming through 😁

This time around, we have a deck restoration through a real-estate. The decking was not well maintained and with years of neglect, the boards were all warping, swelling and popping out of the 45 they were screwed in on.

So... Had to pull some of it up, strip the board and screw down every section with decking screws... Bit of a sand on the high ridges and a coat of Jambalaya with non slip grit and bammm... NEW LIFE! 👐

Also a thank you to Annie for reaching out for a fresh coat of paint on the eves at their place in Torquay - Bit of a challenge being up so high, but a nice coat of cream and re-paint the trims, it was a massive difference!

Even got the boom out to tackle a section of it.

Than onto some more plaster work for a real-estate, fixing up some cracks from a moving slab...

I really feel bad for people who have built in some sections of Mt Dunned and Armstrong with the amount of movement.

And last but not least... I got to pull apart this old chicken pen for Samantha... With a tree landing on it, was time for new!

No 2 days are the same lol... 😂

When people ask, ohhh, what do you do... Its just hard to answer... Now I can add pulling down a chicken shed! 😎

How bloody good is this weather getting!... 😎 I'm loving the fact it is still a little bit light at 6pm with some energy left in the tank!

The sound of kids playing in the street, the law mowers going on the weekend and the mood around this time of year is just so magic and contagious...

Bit of a special one this time...

I didn't even notice that I have hit over 1,200 supporters who follow the page... 😲

Might not seem like much to some, but for me, just WOW... I am just so blown away and so grateful my journey has led me here.

I am very lucky to meet, talk to and work with so many amazing souls around this local area of Geelong...

From my heart to yours, I want to say thank you. Thank you for all the support, the love the kindness and the fun times we have... For sharing your homes, your story, for allowing me to help and transform little parts of your lives for the better.

Also - I would like to say a big thank you to Beth... Beth reached out via e-mail regarding an investment property down this way and needed some help to get it ready for market.

A lot of hard work went in to fixing up a few areas of plaster that had seen better days, a fresh coat of paint in one room, the back deck rails and the front fence.

So happy with the end results... I hope all goes well for Beth and all the best with everything moving forward.

Thanks for putting trust in the work I do 😁💜

Hey Campers!!! 😁😁😁

Long time no posty posty... 😅

I have not even had time to scratch my butt cheeks its been super busy over the past few months.

You can smell spring in the air!! I cant wait and have beat the weather by shorts only during winter! 😎

So....

A Big thank you to Jenny for reaching out and asking to replace the old laserlite on the outdoor area... Also a thank you to Rusty for passing my name on 😁

The darker tint came up a treat!

Then out to Ocean Grove to work on over 35 wall cracks for Matt after getting his place re-stumped... OMG!... Only the one picture, as I'm sure looking at all the wall ones is not the most entertaining!

Then down to Torquay for a bit of a yard freshen up for Luke. Ripping up fake grass and installing turf with a bit of an even out to get the place ready for spring!

Over to Port to do a some work on a new Age Care office, a front yard clean up with some tuscan for Braeden, A back yard clean up for Davide annnnnnnnnnd along with all of that, I got to catch up with Gina, Anne, almost finished off Cheryl's back garden, T and sooooo much more!

I cant forget a long time customer... Alena... Who moved to Melbourne a bit ago and has now moved back to Armstrong... So, Hired the big Budget and helped move for the day... And it was a massive day at that! 😁

I hope it all works out and you settle in soon. 👣

Well Hey there 😎

How's the Tuesday night scroll session going? 😂... Some things we see in reels, we cannot unsee... Its crazy out there!

For some reason, I find the sound of a turtle during intimate time very fascinating 🤣 Uhhhhhhhhhh... Search it... I dare ya lol...

Anyway!

I got to see Karen and Glenn!!! 😁 and tidy up the hedges! Its been far too long since I last seen you guys and it just made my day. It never feels like work when you're helping people who feel like family... We always get to have a laugh and joke around.

Ill be back soon when the warmer weather hits!🤗

Big thank you to Andrew, a local to Curlewis who asked if I could get his back yard back under control after it got away from him... I really enjoyed this one... Big back yard clean up and full gutter clean (hands were way too muddy for photos lol) 😎

There is an art form to cutting long grass so it doesn't lay down on you and look like s**t.

16,327 on the step counter that day!

Then today... I got to pop in and see Anne to help take some rubbish away... Now just to get her to agree to a BINGO night!!!

Also a shout out to Pat... Just a quick pop in to do some little repairs to keep the cold out and keep warm... Hope you're feeling better!

Other than this, just the odd jobs with fixing up a leak behind the wall, then having to do a re-plaster and many other odd jobs I get to do on a weekly!

Did you know... As much as all the info that hits us wants us to feel scared, worried, angry... We get to choose to ignore all the BS... We get to choose to help a stranger, to find the good in every day, to look at all the amazing things we have around us, take a breath and just be like... Wow... 💜

We suffer more in our imagination than we do in reality...

From a big yard clean up, to removing / replacing mouldy silicon from showers and vanity's to general plumbing and installing new taps and mixers... I love the fact that no 2 days are the same! 😄

Big thank you to Sally for reaching out again to take care of her son Kiahs yard... Shift work can be a massive challenge and the last thing you wanna do is yard work when you need sleep! 😴

No photos on this one, but still a massive thank you to Jinaya for asking me to come back and install some shelving for the Friends collection and a seat swing out the back alfresco. And some odd jobs around the home to make it feel more complete!

Was so cool to know we knew the same people in high school... Good old South Barwon! lol 😎

Also Fleur for asking me to help out her dad on a few things. Hope it all goes well.

And the last stand out was helping Susan with a few tap change overs and a new mixer for the kitchen... Even though their dog tried to help by taking things out of the tool bag lol 😂...

Well, winter is well and truly here... Days in shorts and nights snug as a bug in a rug!

Hope everyone is taking care of themselves and remembering to keep their own cup full so you can be there for your loved ones 💜

Well well well... I sorta knew it was on the cards, as I've been putting in the effort, but my boss finally seen my value and awarded me the first Handy Man of the month award! 💥

Yes... I work by myself, but all the voices in my head have to be other people on the team, or I'm getting hauled away in the back of a white van with a nice little jacket on! 😅😅

Busy busy busy!

Big thank you to Sammy for reaching out and asking to get the front garden boxed out and more maintainable. Its hard with small edging. So a decent box out and now Sammy can get in there and set up the garden how she wants. Was so lucky the rain held off until Id just finished!

Also a big thanks to Pepo - Sent a msg to ask me to put together a garden shed... 3x3 Absco does the job nicely! And another one where the rain held off just enough to finish it up and bolt it down to the concrete pad!

Apart from the exciting stuff... A lot of little ones coming through, like a cloths line install on the brick wall, some min plumbing work replacing the buttons and pumps on a wall mount flush panel

AND!!!!

Putting the home gym together for Hayley and I 😎

There has defiantly been some winter sads kick in 😞, but I'm still wearing the shorts to remind me, the sun is almost on its way back to us.

And, in the words of a man who wears a microwave on his head....

If you focus on results, you will never change... But if you focus on change, you will always see results. 🙌

Hey Campers! 😁

Feels like such a long time between updates. yet I am just run off my feet at the moment! 👣

Its good to be busy! 😎

Just wanted to share some stand outs of the latest I've been working on.

Big thanks to Peter for reaching out and asking to give the deck a bit of a refresh... With the weather latley, was lucky to get this one in.

Still have one more on the list to get done when weather allows - So I haven't forgotten you Louise 😄

Then, I have been doing a lot of shower re-fresh work of late also. From a re-silicon, grout and full freshen up.

When mould spots gets in the silicon, its hard to get out unless you use really harsh chemicals and even then, most of the time that does nothing. So a full strip down and using mould resistant products helps.

I hope everyone is kicking goals out there and looking after yourselves...

Just remember - You are not in this world to live up to anyone's expectations apart from your own. ☺️

Forgive yourself... We are all doing the best we can.

One thing to ask yourself... Who would you be in the absents of all your concerns?

Keeping showing up, keep grinding away... You got this 🔥
