If you turn on the news, there’s not much positivity around the property market. But that’s not the full picture.
For example, yes it does feel like things have been quieter than earlier in the year, but there’s not really any unusual time in the market.
As soon as you get used to things going one way they very quickly turn in another direction. The change is always consistent and at times unpredictable.
What I think is really important is to be able to respond to change with strategy, persistence and as Will Ainsworth always says, a process. (And as I personally feel - grit, humour and resilience!).
So, I’ve been around long enough now, that I trust myself to help clients through the peaks and troughs and guide from experience - getting them to the finish line.
And while yes, I have felt that things have been quieter, in the past week I have still put two properties under contract. And I expect to be putting a few sold stickers up in the coming weeks.
It feels great every time a result is achieved for a client (and gives me personal confidence) to help the next client.
