When we started looking for a wedding venue, we knew we wanted a relaxed country wedding where our family and friends could spend the whole weekend together. From the moment we saw the beautiful rock wall in the gully and the stunning scenery across the property, we knew this was the place.
One of the things we loved most was the flexibility that a DIY venue offered, while still having the support of Jason and Jacqui whenever we needed it. No question was ever too big or too small, and they were always quick to respond and incredibly accommodating with our vendors and plans.
Leading up to the wedding, we experienced a lot of rain, but Jason and Jacqui went above and beyond to ensure the gully area was mowed and accessible for our ceremony. It meant so much to us and allowed us to have the ceremony we'd been dreaming about.
The property itself is absolutely stunning. The accommodation was fantastic, and having the option for guests to camp on-site made the whole weekend feel even more special. It gave everyone the opportunity to relax, connect and enjoy the celebrations together without having to rush off.
Aside from getting to say "I do", the highlight of the weekend was seeing our vision come to life on such a beautiful country property. Every aspect of the venue contributed to creating the perfect atmosphere, and our guests are still talking about how amazing it was.
One of our favourite memories came at the very end of the weekend. Everything had been packed away, our guests had left, and we sat together on the steps of the barn, taking a moment to breathe and reflect on everything that had happened. Looking out across the property, we realised the weekend had been more than we could have imagined. It was absolutely perfect.
We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough to any couple looking for a beautiful country wedding with incredible scenery, flexibility, and genuinely caring owners.
