You may be thinking that romance and real estate wouldn’t have much in common, but when you dive deep into both worlds - you soon realise they do!
They’re both often very expensive so we need to figure out if we are after short or long term commitment. Most people want an ROI! (return on investment).
Basically, the Ultimate goal = Finding ‘The One’. A person or a place to create lasting memories with. It’s about envisioning your life in that space or with that face - and feeling a deep connection towards it.
90% of people start with an online search.
Online we may think ‘this is the perfect match, then you see or meet in person and it’s not what you thought it would be. It’s either love at first sight – or disappointment. There’s a pro and con list playing through our heads. Afterall, seeing is believing, and when you know - you know!
Normally it’s an indescribable feeling. We either get excited or become disheartened when it’s not what we thought or someone else ends up with it!
However, it’s about understanding that not every encounter is meant to be whether it’s a house or a potential partner. It may be hard handing the keys over to another person and letting go if something was out of your control, but know that every materialistic possession or relationship is either a reason, a season or a lifetime.
So, if you’re continuing your pursuit to find the perfect home, know that finding ‘The One’ in RE, can be as exciting and fulfilling as finding your soul mate. There’s a spiritual aspect to both and the process can ultimately be very rewarding.
Sometimes, we don’t choose our next home, it chooses us, just like with love, it can’t be forced but when it’s meant to be – it’ll be. Remember, in life, nothing goes by you – thats for you!
