I swear the universe knew that I was going to need my mum more than ever this past month. I honestly don’t know how I would of got through without her. With Bruce’s weekly chemo treatments and all his required care at home, my massivly heavy university load, school holidays, endless laundry piles, snacks and dishes, work, businesses to run, illness and then the incredible loss and heavy grief of losing our boy. Mum held it together for me., for us all. Rocked me when I cried far too many times. Did all our washing. Played non stop with the kids. Endless craft. Play dates with neighbours. She facilitated it all. I really don’t know how I will manage the rest of this semester without her but I remember her doing uni when we were little and doing it all on her own as a single mum and that is what keeps me going. Thank you so much for the past month Nana. You have been gone for 5 days and we are ready for you to come back! I appreciate you so very much! A few pics from a very special 24hrs in Grafton,NSW chasing Jacarandas. Bruce’s favorite trees! 💜
