At our annual staff conference, we were joined by Councillor Krista Adams, for Holland Park Ward, who shared valuable insights into the future of Brisbane and South East Queensland.

With more than 18 years on Brisbane City Council and experience shaping planning, economic development and Brisbane’s transformation ahead of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Krista offered a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges that come with a rapidly growing city.

Her insights explored what is changing across South East Queensland, what is emerging and what it could mean for the communities and buildings we manage every day — encouraging our team to think beyond today and consider the future of the communities we support.

Exceptional hospitality, reimagined.

At our annual staff conference, we were joined by acclaimed Brisbane chef Ryan Squires, who shared a unique perspective on what exceptional hospitality can look like.

Having owned and led Esquire in Brisbane and trained under world-renowned chefs at El Bulli in Spain and The French Laundry in the United States, Ryan brought a wealth of experience and a fresh way of thinking about service, people and creating memorable experiences.

While hospitality may look different in a restaurant than it does in strata management, the principles of exceptional service are universal. Ryan challenged our team to think about how we can bring those principles into our own roles and find new ways to create exceptional experiences for our clients, communities and each other.
