ANZAC Day prepping began with a working bee at the hall followed by some well deserved beverages at the club afterwards! A big thank you to all who helped out with the clean up!!!!
There will be plenty of Rosemary for those who attend the services tomorrow.

Thank you so much to everyone from our wonderful community who provided quotes for work and support letters for Guyra War Memorial Hall ‘s recent CRIF Grant Application with NSW Crown Lands.

We will know the results in May 2026 and will let you know the outcome via this page.

Hello Friends of Guyra’s historic Soldiers’ Memorial Hall.

We need your suppprt please. We missed out on funds a couple of years ago , so we’re submitting again.

We are currently applying for a large grant to upgrade the Hall. The application includes full rewire of lights and power, air conditioning (it gets cold in Winter), painting inside and out (everything is peeling and needs fixing), an upgrade to the kitchen to include dishwashing facilities, lighting upgrade to LED throughout, inclusion of more storage for equipment of hall users, and other basic repairs.

UPDATE! This is where I beg for forgiveness and thank the wonderful Caroline Jackson for noticing that the chair was used inside the Hall at the last function during the week. And suggesting it might have been packed up.

We looked everywhere (or so we thought) but it was hiding at the bottom of a stack of orange chairs : totally camouflaged!
