Wide open flats, a beautiful flowing creek, fresh country air and plenty of room for the kids (and the dogs!) to run free. No organised activities. No crowds. Just space, nature and imagination doing what they do best.

We have welcomed a new member to the Calico Creek Flats family — our new (to us) John Deere tractor! 💚🌾

And let me tell you… this beauty is going to be a game changer.

Our lawns and wide-open flats are a huge part of what makes Calico Creek Flats so special — that lush green space, the room to roam, the perfect ceremony spots, the camping areas, the peaceful country feel. Now, with our John Deere on the job, maintaining the grounds is going to be quicker, smoother and far more efficient.

It’s a widespread season and a pretty special thing to witness. Guests are welcome to have a look, a touch, and a bit of a play with the bunya nuts while you’re here — they’re a true highlight of camping during a bunya year 🌿

Calico Creek Flats, located on beautiful Gubbi Gubbi Country, warmly invites you to come and camp, unwind, and enjoy the stunning summer weather.

With the final weekend of the school holidays here, it’s a great time to spend quality time with family and friends, explore nature, or simply relax by the creek.
