James Rose unique accommodation is inspired by everything we love and are passionate about - heritage, vintage styling & ambience

I have been styling homes for over 12 years, I love a challenge and know how to source unique and exquisite pieces of furniture. My rooms are never run of the mill. My signature style could be classed as modern eclectic, French farmhouse with a twist, although it is ever evolving. Examples of my work have been featured in Australian Country Style Magazine, Country Home Magazine and Blue Mountains life Magazine. The Hawkesbury has an abundance of beautiful buildings that have been transformed or need to be transformed.... it is the most beautiful and inspiring place. My desire for creating beautiful, usable and practical spaces and my husband’s talent for renovation make us a formidable team. Each property reflects our individual style and blood sweat and tears. I am a mother and an Equestrian.

There’s not much new I can add to the other 5 star reviews of this property.
The guest house is awesome just what we had hoped for on our celebratory birthday weekend.
Location is great, the lovely cafe Tractor 828 is so convenient, a couple of minutes up the road, where you can sit and watch the lovely array of special cars and bikes dropping by.
Sarah the host is awesome, unobtrusive but always there to suggest and offer to throw another log on the fire to maintain the cosy ambience.
Another must is a romantic dinner at Cricca 15mins away in Windsor. The food was truely amazing, the staff were fun and attentive and was the nicest restaurant experience I have had in years.
We also throughly recommend a wine tasting visit to the 2 vineyards a very short drive away. The story and history behind Tizzana is amazing. Peter was so informative and knowledgeable, made it a special visit and experience for 2.
You simply can’t go wrong with choosing this awesome property and spot.

Sarah has been absolutely fantastic from our very first interaction. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, comfortable, and well-informed about the local area.

Her property was exactly as described and everything we had hoped for in a romantic getaway. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah’s place to family and friends, and I would gladly stay there again.
