🚨 3 Auction Saturdays left… then Victorian real estate changes again.

From then on, vendors will be required to disclose their reserve price at least 7 days before auction.

I’m all for improving the process and raising the standard across our industry. But this change could create some interesting grey areas — and potentially some tricky situations for buyers, sellers AND agents.

One thing I’m particularly curious about?

Buyers.

Will buyers become more forthcoming with their feedback and level of interest? Or will they simply change the way they play the auction game?

Because when everyone knows the reserve before auction day… the strategy changes.

And I suspect the smartest buyers will be thinking about that very carefully. 👀
