This reflects what many of us working in the Hobart market are seeing on the ground.

While the overall market appears steady, well-presented homes that are priced correctly particularly in the mid-price range are attracting strong interest, multiple offers and, in some cases, selling above expectations.

Buyers are still active; they’re simply being more selective. Pricing and presentation have never been more important.

Median prices are barely budging, but Hobart’s middle market tells a different story.
