We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Kirsten Wilson to Northern Tasmania Manager.

Kirsten’s journey at pitt&sherry Building Surveying is one worth celebrating. She joined in 2014 as an Administration Officer and was instrumental in developing many of our admin processes we rely on today.

Looking to extend herself, Kirsten decided to explore a career as a building surveyor, becoming a Cadet in 2017. She graduated in 2023 and rapidly established herself as a trusted, knowledgeable professional - both with our clients and among her peers. Her commitment to mentoring the next generation of building surveyors, and as a go-to voice on National Construction Code interpretation, speaks volumes about her progression.

We couldn't be prouder and can't wait to see Kirsten excel in this new role. Congratulations Kirsten!

We’re thrilled to welcome back Hilary Cooper to the pitt&sherry Building Surveying team as Southern Tasmania Manager and Senior Principal Building Surveyor.

Hilary is no stranger to pitt&sherry, she was a valued member of our business up until 2016. Almost a decade on, we're delighted to have her back.

Hilary brings an extensive breadth of experience with over two decades working across building surveying, fire safety, and capital project management here in Tasmania and Scotland. Most recently, she led and delivered complex capital works programs at the Department of Education, Children and Young People, including the new Legana Primary School.

Hilary's technical depth and leadership capability make her an outstanding addition to our team. Welcome, Hilary!

They joined us towards the end of 2025, and now they've well and truly found their feet - so it's time for a proper introduction! 👋

Sam Clark has joined us as Victorian Manager and Senior Principal Building Surveyor. Sam's been in the building surveying industry since 2007, with experience across WA and Victoria covering a wide range of project types - from domestic and commercial through to health, education, industrial and public buildings. He brings solid, practical knowledge of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards, and we're pleased to have him leading the Victorian team.

Luke Hamblin is a Building Surveyor Unlimited with 13 years of experience and diverse project knowledge across commercial, residential, education and industrial sectors. Luke is a key part of our continued focus on building capability and capacity in Victoria.

We're glad to have them both on the team - welcome, Sam and Luke!

Meet Georg Tabagari – Cadet Building Surveyor

Georg recently joined pitt&sherry Building Surveying as a Cadet Building Surveyor in our Launceston Office. His interest in building and construction started at home and now fuels his drive to learn, grow, and contribute to projects that shape communities.
