From a Real Estate shoot in Canberra.

Set myself the challenge of getting the entire front of the house into a photo - despite their being a big leafy tree blocking the airspace - and managed to get the drone right amongst the branches and foliage to get this fun shot.

Sometimes you don't even need to fly your drone to get a great photo with it! 😄

I came across this tiny, lonely succulent, living in a millimetre of dirt between fence planks, in a quiet Sydney alleyway after I had finished a real estate shoot nearby.

I was inspired by how something so beautiful and fragile could exist in such harsh conditions and just had to photograph it.

As I only had my drones with me, I used my DJI Air 2s to photograph it, by holding the drone in my left hand while balancing and using the remote controller in my right hand.

I got a few strange looks by people walking by, while I struggled to frame, focus, and then take the shot, but I definitely think it was worth it.

I then easily took a photo of the little succulent with my phone, but as I had thought, my drone with its bigger 1" sensor took a better shot and that's what you see here.

Never pass up an opportunity just because you don't think things (or the equipment you have) are perfect, you just might surprise yourself if you give it a try.

Also, keep your eyes open; you never know when you'll find beauty in the most unexpected places! 😄
