From doll houses to dream homes 🏡

Today Barbara and I (Bec) were chatting in the office about something pretty special. We realised we've both loved houses since we were little girls — designing and drawing up floorplans, decorating our dolls' houses, always making sure every little room was clean, cosy and cared for.

Barbara even showed me a photo of a dollhouse she still has today, lovingly saved by her Mum since she was a child. It really is a passion that's in the blood!

🏠 Big news for NSW renters — Smart Rental Bonds is coming!

Moving house is stressful enough without having to find thousands of dollars for a brand new bond before your old one is even refunded. That's about to change.

From August 2026, the NSW Government is rolling out Smart Rental Bonds — starting in Parramatta, the Central Coast and Penrith, before expanding across the state.

✅ Tenants can digitally transfer their existing bond straight to their new property
✅ Only a small $25 transfer fee — instead of paying a whole new bond upfront
✅ Could save renters up to $4,000 every time they move
✅ If the new bond is lower, you get the difference back. If it's higher, you just pay the gap
✅ No change to landlord security — the process stays fully protected

This is a genuine cost-of-living win for the 2.3 million+ renters across NSW, and one of the biggest changes to tenancy law in years.
