Bit of a laugh, but stoked to have put together our biggest sale at STRUD and the 3rd highest canal frontage sale in Palm Beach history šŸ’š

The first time Iā€™ve ever sold one of my own homes, and making a decision based on logic when thereā€™s so much emotion involved is never easy.

I definitely learnt a lot through the process. Stick to the process, remove the emotion where you can, negotiate with patience, and focus on creating a genuine win, win outcome.

Barely posted anything from my Phillipines trip, was off the phone and disconnected while I was there. This was on my favourite day I had over there on the ocean. Trying sea urchin in the Phillipines, had no idea how to eat it šŸ˜‚ Blew my mind all the people, hustling in the ocean trying to sell things!

Everyone wants to make a dollar. No one wants to spend a dollar. The best investment youā€™ll ever make is in yourself and your business. See so many agents or business owners go hard at it for a week or month maybe a few months. Donā€™t get the results instantly then quit. Great things take time to build. Most canā€™t sacrifice for long enough. Then chop and change their strategy. Starting from the beginning over and over again.

Blanket rule for any business spend a minimum of 10% of what you want to make on your marketing. IE 500k business 50k marketing budget, 1 Million dollar business 100k marketing.

Having kids, reminds you of being a kid again! Randomly doing random things just because you feel like it. We went to the woolies, decided to leave the car and walk to the creek, throw some rocks, stand on a drain while we FaceTimed mum. The older I get the more I understand how important it is to stay grounded. You can get so caught up in the day today. Running a business you can waste so much time being focusing on things that donā€™t move the needle. You donā€™t work for money. You work to get back your time so you can present when it matters.

Absolutely loved my time in the Philippines!

Realised how in our own head we are in Australia, always thinking, always anxious, always in our little shell and why wouldnā€™t we be? So many people judging others, tearing each other down, not being kind, not genuine, whinging and complaining. What I learnt and loved about Filipino culture.

1. They are all in it together, all help each other and give with without wanting anything back in return.
2. They are all just there own weird selves, not worrying what others think just present and joyful in the moment
3. They donā€™t complain, they are grateful for what they have

Donā€™t forget your worst day here in Australia is someone elseā€™s dream. Some would do anything to have the opportunities we have. Donā€™t take them for granted.
