Jindabyne is very excited about the return of l'Etape - a cycle event sponsored by Tour de France. Jindabyne stage colour is yellow, and there are countless yellow bikes, wheels, plastic flowers etc lining the street. Even Strezlecki in the Banjo Paterson Park has a yellow rain coat.
With 2 events of 126 and 153km, it is not an event for the faint hearted. Aalen has guests for the weekend, and we wish them well in the gruelling event.

Hi all. Just letting you know we have more snow overnight, and Perisher Resort has opened early. Still accommodation available most of June and September, 1st weekend in July and a little bit of August. Check the website for more details.

Perisher is open early. From all reports there is a lot of fun to be had on Front Valley, with even a park for the "braver than I". Check out the Village 8 Snow Cams. Apparently Selwyn also opened on the weekend, with free tickets. Must be pretty good up there too. Thredbo is holding off till this weekend, but should have some awesome fun. A great start to 2017. Aalen has vacancy throughout June, and shoulder prices are cheap. If you can get down in the next few days, you could even score budget rate.
