Had a great day out with the family at the Wanneroo Show yesterday. The highlight though was jumping into our Blueky suit and surprising my own kids as the Harcourts Alliance blue bear!

Although I couldn’t see much through the tiny viewing window, I could definitely feel and hear the excitement from all the other kids as well. Plenty of high fives, bear hugs and little laughs all around.

🚀 Major Update for First-Home Buyers - Starts 1 October 2025! 🏡

Exciting news just dropped from Housing Australia: starting 1 October 2025, the federal government is expanding the Home Guarantee Scheme in Perth (capital city) from $600,000 up to $850,000!

Here’s what else is changing:

✅ No limit on places - anyone with a 5% deposit can apply (previously capped spots).
✅ No income limits - whether single or dual income, you're now eligible.
✅ Higher property price caps - tailored to current markets to give more choice.

This means more Aussies can step into homeownership sooner whilst avoiding Lenders Mortgage Insurance and therefore gaining access to a broader range of homes.

A little teamwork goes a long way 💙

In this tough market, many buyers are stuck in a catch-22 — they want to buy, but can’t compete until they’ve sold… and don’t want to sell until they’ve secured their next home.

Even amidst the chaos of preparing a busy family home for sale, these two have kept me laughing the whole way through!

Today, we got to put the Under Offer sign up at 27 Sandridge Street, Banksia Grove—just 4 days after our first inspections and with two offers on the table! But the real highlight? Receiving a photo of my new and improved look, courtesy of my very artistic seller to celebrate the speed of the sale 🤣 (see below).
