ON THE ROAD. GIVING 100%. ❤️

Love driving around the Avon Valley at this time of year.

Love my job.

Love my clients.

And sometimes this job definitely keeps me on my toes! 😂

A few weeks ago, I was driving to an 11am Saturday home open. As usual, I was early — because I like to be organised and have everything ready before buyers arrive.

Then my phone rang.

“Kimberley, are you coming?”

Ummm… coming where? 😳

A buyer was standing outside ANOTHER one of my properties waiting for a home open.

Then another call.

There were five groups of buyers waiting.

For about three seconds I thought I had made a catastrophic mistake! I pulled over, checked the listing…

Nope. Home open was NEXT Saturday.

I still had no idea what had happened, but there wasn't much point worrying about that with five groups waiting.

So — PIVOT!

Thankfully, because I tend to carry half my office around in my car 😂, I had the keys AND brochures with me.

I worked out I had just enough time, headed straight there, opened the property, got everyone through and then jumped back in the car and made it to my scheduled home open.

Later I discovered one of the real estate portals had mistakenly placed a HOME OPEN sticker on the property, even though the actual home open date further down the listing was for the following week.

Technology! 🤦‍♀️

But that's real estate.

Things don't always go according to plan.

For me, giving 100% means being organised, being available and, when something unexpected happens, finding a way to make it work.

My sellers were looked after.

The buyers were looked after.

And I'm very happy to say…

That property is now UNDER OFFER. ❤️🏡
