Bonus points if Mum + Dad try it too. (Yes, that includes “just checking work” 😅)

Some moments are so extraordinary that most of us will never experience them quite like this. 🌌✨

This incredible image of Nature’s Window under the Milky Way was captured by the talented (Wil Son)

Who set off for a 4.5 hour drive, a solitary midnight hike through the darkness, and nearly two hours of patiently waiting for the clouds to clear.

As Wil shared, there was no signal, no GPS, unfamiliar sounds in the darkness, and plenty of reasons to turn back. But he stayed. He waited. And eventually, the night sky revealed its masterpiece.

It’s a powerful reminder that some of nature’s greatest rewards require patience, courage, and a willingness to venture beyond your comfort zone.

Business owners have suggested a direct flight from Perth to Kalbarri could drive up tourism.

On Wednesday the idea was raised at an economic forum in Geraldton as speakers discussed how to attract more people to the popular coastal town.

Restaurant owner Melissa Finlay said a networked flight could allow people in Perth to come up for day trips or weekend visits, removing 6 hours of driving each way.

Nexus Airlines spokesperson Kym Francesconi, who was on the same speaking panel, said the idea depended on whether there was enough demand.
