⚜️ Yesterday, I announced the start of works on the new $1.2 milllion Kalkallo Scout Hall, to be built on the grounds of Gilgai Plains Primary School as a home for a new local scouts group.

This new facility is backed by a $600,000 contribution from the State Labor Government and is scheduled to be completed next year.

Scouts Victoria has a great history of fostering teamwork, care for community and leadership skills, and it's terrific that local kids here in our community will have the opportunity to benefit.

Great news!!

I am very pleased that our community will benefit from a $3 million commitment to help deliver the Kalkallo North Integrated Child, Family and Community Centre!

This brand new facility which is part of the Victorian Government's $10.2 million Building Blocks grant program will include three kindergarten rooms, maternal and child health, and multipurpose activity rooms.
