🏡 Another Dream Made Reality! 🏡

A huge congratulations to another wonderful young couple whose new home officially settled last week! 🎉🔑

While they'll have to be a little patient before moving in and counting down the days until the current lease comes to an end, we know it'll be well worth the wait.

One thing's for sure, the spacious, secure backyard is going to be a hit with their two super sized furry family members! 🐾🐶🐶 We can already picture them stretching their legs, playing to their hearts' content and making the yard their own.

A very interesting read!

St Ives has spent more than four decades proving that mature goldfields can keep producing when exploration never stops.

Located about 20 kilometres south-east of Kambalda, the operation spreads across the salt flats and rocky ground around Lake Lefroy. Gold mining in the district began in the late 1890s, while modern production took shape under Western Mining Corporation in 1980. Gold Fields bought St Ives in 2001 and turned it into a cornerstone of its Australian business.

The mine has now produced more than 10.5 million ounces. Its strength comes from flexibility. Ore is drawn from underground workings and open pits, with Invincible becoming one of the operation’s key mining centres after its discovery in 2012.

St Ives produced 369,600 ounces in 2025, up 12% from the previous year as higher mill throughput and improved grades lifted output. That result placed it among Western Australia’s leading gold operations.

Its future is being built underground. Continued drilling around Invincible and other corridors is aimed at replacing depletion and extending production well beyond the current plan.

Gold Fields is also investing about A$296 million in a 42MW wind farm and 35MW solar plant. Once fully commissioned, the system is expected to supply more than 70% of the mine’s electricity.

St Ives isn’t a short-lived rush. It’s a long-running mining system that keeps finding new value beneath one of WA’s most unusual landscapes.

A huge welcome home to this wonderful young couple! 🏡✨

After their home settled earlier this month, they've finally arrived in town and are settling into life in their very first home. Even better, they're leaving the FIFO lifestyle behind and looking forward to spending more quality time together, enjoying their downtime and making memories in their new community.
