As we take to the courts today for Reconciliation Round we would like to take a moment to recognise the contributions to our club by our dedicated group of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members. From our committee right through to taking the court your voice and determination are inspiring to us all and we thank you now and always for your commitment to our wonderful club.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2026 is All In, a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation. 🖤💛❤️

At Kardinya Netball Club, respect is at the heart of our game. 💖

We are proud to be a club built on community, teamwork, encouragement and support, and we ask everyone involved in our club to continue contributing positively to that environment each week.

Players, coaches, umpires, volunteers, spectators and supporters all play an important role in shaping the experience our athletes have both on and off the court.

Please remember that disrespectful behaviour, poor sportsmanship or negative sideline conduct has no place in our game.

Instead, we encourage our community to:
✔ Support all players positively
✔ Respect umpires and their decisions
✔ Show kindness and patience
✔ Encourage teammates and fellow supporters
✔ Represent our club with pride

The way we speak, act and support one another matters, and together we can continue creating a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone involved in netball.

Once team announcements are made Kardinya Netball Club enters a one week ‘cooling off period’
where players and parents are asked to not enter into any correspondence regarding team selection,
and during this time consider the grading process and the level of involvement and thought that goes
into grading and team selection by our Club volunteers.
If after the ‘cooling off period’ a player wishes to enter into correspondence regarding team selection
they must do so in writing to the Grading Committee. The Grading Committee will discuss the correspondence and provide a suitable response in
written form.

This year we will be announcing the teams at the courts following a group fitness and skills session. This will then be followed by a coach meet and greet.

If you cannot attend tonight, your coach will be in contact with you to introduce themselves and advise of training time.

Check your time and we will see you tonight where you get to meet your teammates and coach 🩷
