Greeting everyone, just posting to introduce my service and explain how I can benefit you.
I have been doing aerial roof inspection for private and commercial properties for more than four years, and in my experience, roofs are mostly out of sight out of mind, but with the increasing cost of insurance and onerous excess costs for claims, it’s absolutely essential to get all your ducks in a row, by being aware of the status of your roof.
Little things like blocked gutters, or lots of leaves can be enough to call any claim into question.
I know that many of you would be aware of the importance of maintaining your roof because I have spent time here in the past due to hail damage claims working for the insurers, and I know that all of you with previous roof claim experience in particular, will be aware of how important it is to know the status of your roof and have evidence of ongoing maintenance.
We provide a comprehensive high resolution photographic dossier of your entire roof, that are time stamped and also come with a dated invoice so you can clearly show an ongoing maintenance process, as well as being able to arm yourself with the information you need to be able to communicate with other necessary trades as well as knowing the status of your roof, before anyone climbs up on it. This reduces the risk of further damage in the form of broken tiles, as well as avoiding working at heights risks unless necessary, especially for you the homeowner!
A roof, especially the south facing side, can often be slippery and dangerous due to mould that is often hard to see.
Currently weather patterns look to be changing, and if we get lots of high temperatures and dry weather early in Spring we could easily find ourselves getting a few really solid thunderstorms and damaging hail, certainly it seems to be shaping up that way so far.

Strong winds are a recipe for shifted tiles and downed tree limbs!
Make sure your roof is ready for storm season and any possible insurance claims that may result, by making sure there are no outstanding maintenance issues that could cause your claim to get refused.
Just as importantly, if you’re sending someone up onto your roof to make repairs, best you know exactly what those repairs are and the actual state of your roof before someone climbs around on your tiles, potentially damaging them, and causing more issues.

The more roof inspections I do, the more obvious it is that there is a huge disconnect when it comes to roof maintenance for many homeowners. The reality is, you shouldn't be waiting for a week of heavy rain and bad weather to find out if there is a problem with your roof. It's THE barrier between what's valuable to you, and the elements, and yet so often people wait until there is a problem to act, when often the issue could have been easily mitigated by simply knowing the status of your roof and taking steps to maintain it.

I get it. There are tons of reasons people don't want to climb around on their roof, but you also don't want to be in a position where you are being informed about outstanding maintenance issues by your insurance assessor/company at the time of a claim.

Forewarned is for-armed with an annual, no contact, aerial roof inspection, that provides you with a complete and accurate set of images in incredible detail, clearly showing any broken tiles, missing pointing, damaged flashing, blocked gutters and/or any other issues with your roof that are likely to cause you problems. These also provide you with the required information to assess and organise any repairs without being given the run-around or being over-charged by third party contractors, because you know exactly what needs to be done. Knowledge is power and it saves you money!

It protects your insurance coverage, because you can show proof of a maintenance schedule, thus any claim is far less likely to be rejected due to lack of maintenance, which protects your valuables, your ongoing investment in your insurance premiums and your excess payment in the event of a claim. You know better than me that none of this insurance is cheap, but I can at least let you know that our inspections are cheap at $150 for a standard house and $200 for a very large house that requires extra time on site.

It's the little things that can get you.

A plant growing in a gutter like this is evidence of no maintenance for an insurer. Not all roof issues are as easy to get to, but none the less, it was still there at the time of the insurance inspection.

It could be an expensive mistake.

I can save you the grief with a no contact maintenance inspection of your roof that won't break a single tile, because the best way to break a tile is to stand on it.

True story….My neighbour, who is young fit bloke, surfs often, point is, he’s physically capable. As a result of a leak with all the rain, he climbed up to check his roof. As he got to the southern side of the property, and having dark tiles, the black slime/moss (grows everywhere and is slipppery as ice) wasn’t visible, and when he stepped on it he went straight down breaking a row of tiles before falling off the roof, fortunately onto the neighbours garage on the other side to me, which saved him landing on their car or driveway either of which would not have been a good result.
Moral of the story is, you don’t want anybody on your roof unless they have to be. My neighbours house is a single story only. The outcome could have been horrendous!
