In 1953, nine-year-old Lino Bisinella stepped off a boat from Italy.

By 1964, he was a plasterer running his own business and employing his first staff member.

Today, his family is breaking ground on its biggest project yet.
Bisinella Business Park in Corio is expected to create more than 400 ongoing jobs once operational, supporting employment opportunities in Geelong's growing north.

With Geelong's population projected to grow by 308,000 people by 2050, the development will provide local businesses with room to expand while creating more employment opportunities close to home.

More than 60 years on, the Bisinella family's belief in Geelong remains unchanged.

Business leaders, CEOs and locals will spend the night inside its walls for the Lazarus Sleep Out for the Homeless.

For participants, it's one uncomfortable night by choice but for someone sleeping rough, it's every night.
