Receive a warm welcome from host Wendy, who lives just down the hill, then enjoy the peace and quiet of your self-contained space. Get comfortable across your choice of seven single and two double beds in two bedrooms and two sleepouts (all with air conditioning). Prepare meals in your fully equipped kitchen and eat in unique style around a dining table made from recycled roofing timbers found in the ceiling of what is now the front verandah. Settle into the spacious loungeroom at the heart of the homestead and warm yourself
around the potbelly stove or cool off under the ceiling fans. If you can peel yourself away, take a picturesque drive to the Scenic Rim’s many hiking trails, lakes, wineries and eateries. For provisions, Beaudesert is only 10 minutes down the road and has several local cafes, pubs, boutique shops and supermarkets. With horses and cows as your closest neighbours, and sweeping views across paddocks to the Border Ranges, you’ll feel a world away from your responsibilities even though you’re only an hour from Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.
