Due to the concerns and newly created government mandates relating to COVID-19, as a nation we are now in uncharted territory when it comes to social contact and virus spread. As a valued client we want to communicate with you clearly on some protocols we are adopting to protect you and our team from any risk this virus may create and as we play our part in restricting the transmission of this virus within our community.
Cash Payments:
As an interim measure, we ask any tenant who usually pays cash to adopt a new payment method such as direct debit or direct transfer. Your Property Manager will happily discuss these options with you and what you can do and when to commence your new method of payment.
Tenancy Paperwork:
Any paperwork that you wish to provide us should now be sent electronically, this may be maintenance forms, lease renewals that you have signed and any other form of communication that we normally would handle from our front office.
Rental Routine Inspections:
Our team will still be conducting routine inspections, but they will do so with extra precautions in place as we value highly the health and well-being of our staff, clients, their family and the greater community. You may consider this is unnecessary but we can assure you on the advice of experts, the measures adopted now will be undertaken respectfully and with courtesy to you.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Whilst we rely on third party trades to attend to your maintenance, there may be some delays out of the usual time frames due to protocols our trades may adopt for their business. We will attempt to accommodate your needs as best we can and we ask for you to communicate with us on any delays you may experience. We will do our best to ensure maintenance is completed. Prior to any maintenance being attended to, you may be asked if you have been required to self-isolate or are experiencing any cold and flu symptoms.
During this time we will also ask that you do not visit our office without a scheduled appointment. Please know that if you do hold an appointment, we have implemented increased sanitation measures, particularly in our meeting spaces with thorough sanitation after every appointment and consistent cleaning in communal areas, common touch-points and surfaces.
We are sure you can appreciate that we have not taken these steps lightly and that these are only interim protections and we will continue to communicate with you. If you have any concerns at all, please feel free to call on 03) 6333 3600 and chat with us, as we are on hand to work with you through this transition.
Thank you for your patience and understanding and please do not hesitate to contact us if you hold any concerns.
