🏦 RBA Increases Cash Rate to 4.35%
The Reserve Bank of Australia has today announced a 0.25% increase to the official cash rate, with the rate now sitting at 4.35%.

In its statement, the RBA noted that inflation has recently picked up more than expected, with ongoing pressure across parts of the economy and continued strength in housing activity and labour market conditions. The Board stated that maintaining price stability remains its priority.

Today’s decision reflects the RBA’s cautious approach as it continues to monitor inflation, domestic demand and global economic conditions.
