Springlea is Chorki Ski Club’s beautiful Victorian beachhouse in Lorne. Built in the 1880s, it is one of the town’s historic homes situated one block from the beach and main shopping strip on Mountjoy Parade. Inside are large living spaces with soaring ceilings, including a generous kitchen big enough to cater for big fun filled get-togethers. A light-filled conservatory contains a long wooden tab

le and is ideal as a breakfast room or to savor a meal at the end of a day by the beach. With four bedrooms, each with en suite, Springlea is the perfect venue to cater to Chorki members, friends and guests. The laying of new floors is so satisfying! Next to go in is the cupboard and new bench tops. Then will have to plum & wire in all the new appliances. Getting exciting!! Lots of jobs to finish off before we can open up for guests again in July. On behalf of all of everyone at the Club, we want to thank Member’s Fiona, Dave, Marg and Wes for all the extra effort they've put in to plan, organise and do the work. Also thanks to all the other members who've come down to help out.
