Yep 5% is less than 20%... But at what cost?
Getting into the property market is becoming more accessible for first home buyers. Lower deposit requirements, higher caps and more buyers are eligible under the 5% deposit scheme. But there’s another side to it. We’re seeing more first home buyers competing for the same properties and prices are continuing to climb. More buyers can enter the market, but competition for smaller properties has never been stronger!
