Local Resident & Neighbours Notice

Just a friendly notice that on Wednesday 24th June, Mackay Regional Council in partnership with Water by Design will be hosting a local industry breakfast event from 7:00am – 9:00am in Dunes Community Square. This event is supported by Urbex in continuing to adopt best practice environmental and development outcomes for Dunes Harbour Beach.
You may notice a little extra traffic during this time. All efforts will be made to ensure traffic and parking is managed.

This is what Sunday mornings are made for 🌊

Yoga by the Beach returned in April, and it’s been great to see the community coming together each Sunday morning — slowing things down, moving gently, and making the most of our beautiful coastal outlook at Dunes.

We're also thrilled to have Anna from Soulful Ayurveda leading our sessions this year. With over 20 years of experience in yoga and holistic health, she brings a calm, nurturing energy to every class — blending gentle movement, mindfulness and moments of stillness right by the water.

Whether you’re one of our wonderful regulars or simply curious — these sessions are open, welcoming, and a great way to ease into your week.

Sessions continue throughout June from Sunday 14 June, with a new time of 7:30am – 8:30am.

Winter is here — and it’s the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors, beachside in the warm morning sun.
Start your day with a FREE yoga session, commencing Sunday 14 June at 7:30am.

Begin your morning centred, refreshed, and at ease in the open air.
Slow your breath, ease into movement, and take this time for yourself.
Everyone is welcome. Suitable for beginners to advanced.

Location: Dunes Harbour Beach, Sol Drive next to the Community Square.
Locate the Dunes Yoga sign on site.
