Let’s pause for a minute and really take a look at the actual data and numbers for the 60 days across August and September of 2025 vs 2026.

There is no doubt that there is lots of “chatter” around what the market is and /or isn’t doing. However the last 60 days in comparison to the same 60 day period in 2025 shows that there are still really positive signs and movement for our Mackay Real Estate community.

Across August and September, we saw 44 properties settle, compared to 29 at the same time last year. September was a real standout, with 29 settlements on its own, and average sale prices have held steady across both months🌟

What we’re seeing is a market adjusting with confidence. Buyers are still active, open homes remain well attended, and quality homes that are presented and marketed well continue to attract genuine interest.
