WhitsunStays is seeking a reliable and motivated Junior Cleaner to join our friendly team in the Mackay & Whitsundays region.

This role is ideal for a student or someone looking for casual work on weekends, public holidays, and during school holiday periods.

What you'll be doing:
✨ Cleaning and preparing holiday accommodation for arriving guests
✨ Restocking guest amenities and linen
✨ Working as part of a supportive team
✨ Helping us maintain our 5-star guest experience

What we're looking for:
✔ Positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔ Reliable and punctual

✔ Friendly and professional manner
✔ Own transport preferred
✔ Available to work weekends and school holidays

Hours are generally between 9:30am and 3:00pm, with shifts varying based on bookings and occupancy.

Exciting developments in the pipeline!

We are currently in the middle of many development projects within WhitsunStays.
We are looking forward to being able to share information and our excitements as they come about.

We will be sharing the different developments as we come closer to the finalisation of each project.

But the first project has already come about and we are very excited! We have become mobile! We have gotten a van to help the cleaners for their day-to-day work.

- Complete allocated tasks, working systematically from room to room within the specified time frame
- Ensure all equipment are maintained, used and stored correctly
- Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes, ensuring safe work practices are maintained
- Ensure all WH&S policies and procedures are followed


Our ideal candidate will have;

- A great attitude
- Strong work ethics
- Availability to work between 9.30am and 2pm daily
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays or when needed
- Own transport
- Strong appreciation for guest satisfaction
