🏡 The median price for a 4-bedroom home has climbed to $855,000, while rental prices for the 4-bedroom property sit at $720/week — reflecting the ongoing pressure from low supply and high demand.

📉 Another Drop This Week! That’s 5 weeks in a row! We’re now sitting at just 4,073 listings across the Perth Metro area (including houses, land & apartments).

✳️ The spotlight really needs to turn toward the building industry and what can be done to support it. Boosting construction is essential to ease the pressure on our limited housing stock.

✳️ Despite lower listings, we’re still seeing phenomenal sale prices across Perth. Buyers are going to incredible lengths to secure homes — from rent-backs for sellers, to 14-day settlements, and even 3, 4, or 5-month settlement periods to suit the seller’s timeline.

✳️ As an industry, we’d love to see the State Government collaborate with stakeholders on a solid short-term and long-term plan to address the housing shortage. 🏘️

📌 We’ll be watching closely — stay tuned for next week’s numbers.
