Perth’s property market continues to offer buyers more choice, while rental availability remains below last year’s level.

For the week ending 11 October 2026, REIWA recorded 𝟔𝟏𝟓 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬. There were 𝟖,𝟐𝟖𝟗 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞, compared with 2,780 during the corresponding week last year.

Meanwhile, 𝟏,𝟗𝟗𝟑 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭, compared with 2,246 a year earlier.

For the week ending 𝟒 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, REIWA recorded 𝟓𝟑𝟎 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬. There were 𝟖,𝟎𝟏𝟑 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞 across Perth, compared with 2,821 during the corresponding week last year.

Meanwhile, 𝟏,𝟗𝟕𝟐 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭, compared with 2,180 a year earlier.

Perth Property Market Update | Week Ending 27 September 2026

REIWA reported 631 property sales across Perth during the week ending 27 September 2026.

At the end of the week, 7,804 properties were available for sale—174.7% more than the corresponding week last year. Buyers now have more properties to compare, making realistic pricing, strong presentation and buyer feedback increasingly important for sellers.

Rental availability remains limited. There were 1,909 properties available for rent, 7.5% fewer than a year ago, while REIWA members reported 649 properties leased during the week.

For landlords, limited rental availability may support demand, but the asking rent should still reflect the property’s location, condition and comparable rentals in the current market.
