It's time to say Farewell!

Yes, after 21 years in the local property industry I would like to send out a hearty ‘Thank you’ and ‘Farewell’ to everyone who has ever engaged with me and the Pia Buick Real Estate team.

With this in mind, I am delighted to announce both my retirement and the subsequent sale of my business to Rodney and Catherine Millett of Maleny and Hinterland Real Estate. We trust the service you have been familiar with here will continue in the professional hands of Rodney and his team.

It must be said that is has been a pleasure to work in this beautiful town and that we have enjoyed meeting so many delightful people along the way. I would like to thank anyone who has ever sold or bought through our office (many have done this numerous times), anyone who has recommended our services to their family and friends or simply, provided us with the opportunity to compete for new business.

Both Damian Green and myself have been supported by two outstanding individuals, Kate Woolston and Amanda Hamilton. If you’ve ever called or come into the office, you know who they are. They have been our meet and greet team and wonderful in their respective sales support roles. A very big thank you to Kate and Amanda.

We would also like to thank the local professional services teams for their support. We highly regard the local businesses who have consistently worked with us over the years.

With your ongoing support, it has also been a pleasure to give back to the local community. The Maleny Film Society, the Neighbourhood Centre and many other community and charity groups give so much to the local community and we have been proud to give them our support.

I’m now very much looking forward to spending time with my grand-kids, other family members and friends, pursuing hobbies and generally having some R & R time.

Damian Green, my colleague of the last ten years is also looking forward to enjoying some time at home (his wife has a few jobs waiting for him). I sense that you may be able to engage with him once more in the not-too-distant future; he likes people and selling property is in his blood.
