Mandurah leads Perth’s rental affordability with a median weekly house rent of $540 in the three months to April 2026 — $190 below the Greater Perth median of $730. REIWA data shows Peel and the southern coastal corridor dominate the list of affordable suburbs, including Rockingham, Dawesville and Two Rocks. While Mandurah tops the rankings, it also offers coastal living with beaches, the estuary, shops, cafes, health services and a train line, giving tenants lower rents without sacrificing the convenience of a larger centre.
