Quintess - The Biggest Morning Tea

The Quintess Social Club has been buzzing with activity all year, offering residents plenty of opportunities to come together, socialise, and enjoy a packed calendar of events. From regular get-togethers to special occasions, there’s always something happening and always a reason to connect.

Alongside their social program, the club also dedicates significant effort to fundraising for a range of charities throughout the year. Today marks the highlight of that fundraising calendar — the Biggest Morning Tea in support of Cancer Council Australia as part of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

It’s all happening today, with 107 residents, friends, and family coming together to take part. Yesterday afternoon, residents and members of the social club joined forces to decorate tables, prepare food, and get everything ready for what is one of the biggest and most anticipated events of the year.

Our Quintess community came together for a moving ANZAC Day Service, taking a moment to reflect, remember and honour those who have served.

Residents gathered to pay their respects, with a beautiful display of personal memorabilia and tributes that made the service especially meaningful. It was a powerful reminder of the stories, sacrifices and history that live within our community.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a special morning.

Today, we pause to remember.

At Quintess, we are proud to have our very own ANZAC memorial, located just outside reception — a special place for reflection, now officially registered with the RSL.

This memorial has been thoughtfully brought together by our community. The plaques were carefully arranged by resident Geoff, and the structure itself was built by our dedicated maintenance team member, Andrew.

It’s a quiet but powerful reminder of the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country — and a place our residents can come together to reflect, remember, and pay their respects.

Quintess residents took a positive step toward staying strong, steady, and independent today 💪

We hosted a Falls Prevention Workshop with the incredible team from Exercise Healthcare Australia. Founder Mitchell, alongside Exercise Physiologist Georgia and COO Allison, shared valuable insights on the importance of movement, strength, and mobility in everyday life.

Residents not only learned practical, easy-to-follow exercises they can safely do at home, but also walked away with thoughtful goodie bags—complete with cozy socks and take-home exercise sheets to keep the momentum going!

A big thank you to the team for empowering our community with knowledge and tools to live well and stay active.

Big news at Quintess! 🍽️

We’re excited to now offer nutritious takeaway meals for our residents every fortnight — with our very first delivery today!

Designed to make life a little easier, these chef-prepared meals give our residents more time to enjoy their busy schedules and less time worrying about cooking. Each dish is freshly made in a commercial kitchen by a professional chef (The Pantry Man), then delivered straight to Quintess the next day.

Enjoy them fresh or freeze them for later — it’s all about convenience without compromising on quality.

On Sunday, our wonderful residents came together to host a beautiful Easter Brunch — and what a morning it was!

From the clever (and very creative!) Easter hats 🎩🐰 to the delicious treats and plenty of laughter, it was a truly special way to celebrate the season.

Moments like these are what make our community so unique — bringing people together, sharing stories, and creating memories.
