🚧 Road resealing season is coming 🚧

Our 2026–27 road resealing program starts from mid-October. Resealing seals small cracks before water gets in, which helps prevent potholes and costly repairs.

More than 10km of road will be resealed across the Valley, including:

📍 View Street, Geeveston
📍 Seaview Street, Heather Street and Kingfish Beach Road, Southport
📍 New Road, Franklin
📍 Acacia Street, Huonville
📍 Mountain River, Grove
📍 Silver Hill Road and Cygnet Oval Entry, Cygnet
📍 Forsters Rivulet Road, Lymington
📍 Narrows Road, Strathblane
📍 Woodbridge Hill Road, Gardners Bay

Works are expected to finish by March 2027. Expect brief delays. Please follow traffic control to keep everyone safe. 🦺

Heads up, Huonville!

We are conducting vapour testing across sections of the Huonville sewer network to check for faults such as cracked pipes, unsealed maintenance hole lids, or incorrect stormwater connections. There will be no interruption to your sewer service during this testing, which uses a harmless white vapour used in nightclubs and the theatre.

🔹 What: During this testing, you may see vapour escaping from the lids of maintenance holes, the ground, and the sewer vent on your roof.
🔹 Where: Huonville – north side of Sale Street, and the area between Knopwood Lane and Flood Road
🔹 When: Monday 24 August until Tuesday 8 September 2026, from 8am until 5pm (weekdays only).
