I’m pleased to inform that today is my one year anniversary at PRD Maroubra.

Today I reflected on my journey and the lessons learned from my previous role, which ultimately led to my resignation.

After selling my business & dedicating myself to my last job, I realised that there were no promotion opportunities on the horizon. My skills and experience were not being utilised to their full potential, and my career development had stalled. I felt undervalued and unchallenged.

My personal values no longer aligned with those of my employer. I struggled with the lack of direction, purpose and unbearable arrogance within the company.

I knew I had to make a change. So, I took a leap of faith and resigned. It was a difficult decision, considering the sale of the rent roll a few years earlier.

Fast forward one year, and I am thrilled to say that in my new role, I am surrounded by a supportive team and an organisation that shares my values.

This experience taught me that sometimes, it takes courage to walk away from a situation that is no longer viable. But it is in those moments of uncertainty that we discover new opportunities for growth and fulfillment.
